Del Papa Distributing Company, founded in 1910 in Galveston, Texas by Omero Del Papa Sr., began with the conversion of his retail grocery business into a wholesale establishment that now celebrates its 100th year of business serving three major Texas markets: Galveston, Beaumont and Victoria. The Lamar Institute of Technology Del Papa Distributing Company College Endowment is part of a territory-wide scholarship fund established to endow all community and four year colleges in the seventeen counties that Del Papa serves. Del Papa is committed to supporting and strengthening the many communities in which its customers and employees live.
