Mr. George Gardner

George Gardner, a Beaumont businessman, has provided the initial gift to establish The Development Fund for Underprivileged Students in Technology. Mr. Gardner’s intention in establishing the fund is to raise the awareness of high school students in Port Arthur Lincoln, Stephen F. Austin and Thomas Jefferson, Beaumont Central, West Brook and Ozen and West Orange-Stark to the career opportunities available through training programs at Lamar University Institute of Technology. It is his hope that other technical, professional and industry leaders would wish to add to the endowment as a token of appreciation for the sacrifices others made which made their degree of success possible.
