Mr. Tony Rutledge

Tony Rutledge is a L.I.T. Alumnus that triple majored while enrolled at L.I.T. He has a passion for helping those in need and created this scholarship in honor of the fact that he was helped with scholarships while a student here. He moved here from Texarkana, TX in 2014 and lived in the area for three years before deciding on returning to school and enrolling in L.I.T. He was very involved in the campus life while in attendance and wants to make sure the recipients of his scholarship are as motivated and driven as he was. The FFT portion of the scholarship is so named for the “Fabulous Foundation Trio” that staffed the Foundation Office when he started at L.I.T. and became a student worker. While he attended L.I.T. he was enrolled full time while maintaining a full time job on the weekends as well as a full part-time student worker schedule.
